In 2016, Ferro South Africa purchased the South African division of Synthomer PLC and its subsidiary Arkem. Synthomer was renamed to Ferro Dispersions in keeping with the Ferro South Africa name and brand. The technology and continued distribution of Synthomer products remain unchanged.
Synthomer South Africa has a proud history and an excellent reputation as a dispersants company with an exemplary record of delivering high-quality products to the South African market. Ferro Dispersions manufactures a broad range of speciality water-based polymeric dispersion products that are used in the Coatings, Construction, Adhesive and Textile Industry.
